Light of Christmas
a golden one
painting
over the fences
hedges
and houses
lighting
the otherwise
tenebrous rooms
exept for the slight ray
of the street lights
seeping through the curtains,
hinting off the glossy
ornaments
hanged to gingerly
onto our tree
